i downloaded the cs4 free trial yesterday for my mac,
i tried installing it 4 times last night and everytime it stop 3 quarters of the way through.

has any one else downloaded it lately if so has it been a problem????
 
It is normally no problem. Is your drive formatted in journalled CASE SENSITIVE?
 
Have you ever reinstalled macos or did you buy it second hand? If so it could have been formatted using the case sensitive option which stops adobe stuff working!
 
this is it it worked be for. the trial ran out so i deleted it and tried to install another copy

the mac hasnt crashed its the software that has crashed the mac performs perfect
 
That explains it then! If it let you just keep reinstalling the trial nobody would buy it. I would suggest that if you still want it after the trial period then possibly buying it might be the next step :)
