Photoshop PC > MAC Transfer License

Has anyone done this license transfer? If so, how quick does it usually take to complete?

I read something about a Letter of Destruction.

Getting a new iMac at weekend.

I've not done it as Lightroom licenses are cross platform and I don't use Photoshop, but there are plenty of threads on here detailing the process.
