Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy picture frames which are reasonable quality but not too expensive?

I'm having a hell of a time with that myself at the moment! so if you find somewhere please let me know.

Have you tried The Range in Harlow, Colin?

Please don't laugh ... but Wilkinsons do some decent ones - complete with mounts in them too.

I've used them a few times and they are decent stuff (both wood and metal ones).

God I sound like a cheapskate ... in my last couple of posts I have recommended shopping at Wilkos and also replacing a £100 desktop studio with 2 £3.99 lights from Argos !!

Oh well, more money towards the massive Sigma lens!!!!

Anth.

I thought Mini posted a link to an online frame supplier she's used in the last couple of weeks.

I buy mine from The Range here in Wigan.

I pay about £8 for a decent 20x16"

Buy all my frames from this chap and are very happy with them. All boxed very secure and quick delivery times.:)

Wliko's for me, they also do a selection of mounts too. All my frames come from Wilkinson's and they look fine. They're hard enough provided you're not moving them round all the time.

Wow - 2year thread revival!

I went and talked nice to a local framer telling him I would use him all the time if he came up with a good trade deal and i am very happy with quality and price
