The general concencus on here seems to be that if you must put ore glass on a lens that it be the best you can afford.
Personally I have just ordered a Kenko (rebranded Hoya) Pro1 from ebay, came in at just under £45 for a 77mm CPL, although I understand that the Visico filters sold here are not bad if you're on a budget. I may have to get one to do a comparison

Does Cannon actually make a 22-250mm lens? I've never heard of it.
