As proposed by Norman (Littletank), the last winner...

Post two photographs that are related, or complement each other in some way. They could be 'before and after,' 'black and white,' or 'hot and cold' for example. It's up to you.

Entries will be open until midnight, next Sunday, September 4th

Voting will be open for 3 days after that.

These usual rules apply:-

Must have been shot on film
Must have been shot by you
Must have been shot before this challenge started, so something from your archives please.
Also, please include as much info as you can, if you can remember. Location, camera, film etc.

Please keep your discussions here

Looking through some of my old 35mm Kodachrome slides I came across an image taken in the chapel to the Black Virgin in Lyon about 35 years ago. It was badly exposed but the best I could do in those days. I wondered if it would be possible to extract any useful detail from the slide and decided that it would probably be best to try in monochrome. The slide was scanned using a Nikon CoolScan 1V with VueScan and conversion and processing was using Macphun and PS. Herewith the before and after:-

Taken at the top of the Shell Building on London's Southbank with a Zero Image pinhole camera, Adox CMS20 film, tweaked in Lightroom and inverted in Photoshop.
