Edit My Images
No
I have just got a load of my images back from the lab in 15"x10" and am looking for a nice portfolio to present them in. I have looked on ebay and they all look a bit cheap, also don't know whether to mount the images loose or put them in heavyweight clear pockets.
Any opinions / advice?

They do look nice Phil thanks, i like the idea of the card inserts

No problem! I think you would be best to mount the 15x10s on some really good A3 paper just to keep them central and neat :) Paperchase have some really nice paper if you have one local to you, though they are quite expensive!

The Pina Zangaro look nice! Not trying to hijack topic, but what do you all think to getting a book made by Lulu or the like to present portfolios in?

The problem with this is that in general you want to keep your folio up to date with your latest work, and having to get a lulu book printed every other month is kind of not practical and expensive.

For those that have bought the portfolio from Graphics Direct, what were yours like? Any problems?

I bought 2 A3 portfolio books. They came very quickly and well packaged but the plastic sleeves in both were damaged (in different ways).

I have emailed the company and they have so far been very helpful. Currently both them, and their supplier are out of stock but they are arranging for replacements to be sent to me direct from the supplier next week.

My concern is that they wont arrive in time for when I need them. Or they'll arrive just in the nick of time but have the same problems.

Has anyone seen something similar in the shops for around the same price incase I need to get something quickly?

Just to point out I don't want to put anyone off buying from this company, they have been very helpful so far. And the overall quality of the books is very good and well worth the money.

I use a couple of Mario acerboni albums the finest money can buy
A3 TEA
A3 REPORTO
A size milano
B size persona

and a few others, heavy to drag around but boy do my clients like em:thumbs:

Can they be sourced in the UK?

I would bet they can. I live in California at the moment and buy direct from them, but I've seen a bunch of other websites reselling there stuff, even on Amazon.com. I'd try emailing them and asking. They really great quality. I have a couple I've had for five years and the models have dropped them a million times and there still in fantastic condition.
