has anyone any ideas or inspiration for a paper portfolio.
I am an amateur photographer but in future would like to become professional but i would like to start creating a portfolio and don't know what would be suitable :)

i was thinking something like 2 different portfolios one for possible future clients such as on a4 page 1 or 2 photos grouped in categories such as studio, occasions etc.

and another more development with an a4 page with photo full page then across on another a4 page information such as shutter speed, aperture, lighting conditions etc

I don't think it needs to be as complicated as you seem to be making it. You need the 20 BEST images you have taken in one specific genre i.e studio shots. They need to be printed to extremely high quality and placed inside something special like a leather portfolio. The portfolio will look really strong if you have a wide variety of poses etc but whilst maintaining a personal style that is obvious to everyone looking at it.

thanks :) and theres no REAL IMPORTANCE to having one for me as yet was just thinking about getting one and gathering ideas of how to present it :)
