I was recently asked to take some shots of a local event, it wasn't a paid affair (monetary) but did pay 'in kind' and allowed me access to get shots I couldn't have previously managed.

Its just come to the point where I'm about to pass on these shots and I realised that I simply didn't have anywhere at which to point the photo credit. Last night I hurriedly set up a 500px style portfolio and when teamed with a cheap domain name registration voila! a website.

www.PaulBennettPhotography.co.uk

I'd really appreciate comments on the content of the site (Shots, order, Bio etc.). Its not possible to customize the layout much but if anything screams 'generic' then please let me know and I'll try and tweak it.

Thanks for your comments, positive or negative all are welcome.

(ps -I hope this doesn't break any site rules?)

Thanks, do the BIF look at bit out on their own? Would it be better merged into "Landscapes & Wildlife" or something similar?

I've currently avoided putitng up my home studio style shots but a few of my freinds (photographers) think that I should. I'm not sure.

Talking to myself ever so slightly (not a lot new there) but...

I've shifted a few bits around, added a logo and my Portraiture stuff. I'd be keen for any feedback people might have.

One things friends have commented on is that its slow to flick between images. This seems to be down to uploading full-res copies expecting 500px to shrink them (like they do for community viewing), however they don't. The only way to fix this is apparently to re-upload, re-label etc. everything! Darn.
