Popping up to London tomorrow and have in mind spending some time at Portobello Road, probably after 10am (tube from Paddington).
I get that it's a bust place on Saturdays but is it just busy or is it 'crammed'?
I don't mind a slow pass-through but I can't be doing with a slow-show-shuffle! :rolleyes:
Anyone with knowledge please?
 
No idea but there’s the Classic Car Boot Sale in Kings Cross tomorrow, gramps get a reduced ticket price with proof. :)

When I’ve been, it’s busy rather than crammed
 
It can get very busy perhaps more so at the south end, at the Ladbroke Grove end it is usually quieter . If you like old gear, Cameras London usually have some nice if pricy kit about half way along the road on the East side. The Museum of Brands is near to Ladbroke Grove station, not free entry but fascinating and IIRC they do over 60's concessionary price they also have a cafe with nice cakes if you are not full of street food.
