possible dust spec

Hi all I am newbie here and to the world of slr camera's.
I have a nikon d90 with an 18 to 200mm lens I have had the camera for about 3 months an yesterday I noticed a speck whilst taking a few photo's the speck does not appear on any of the photo's and its quite annoying as I now see it constantly any ideas? I have used an air blower not used the brush yet but not made any difference any help will be appreciated.Also it def not the lens as I tried a 50mm lens and its there as well.

if it is not showing on any pics whatsoever it could be a speck in your viewfinder?, not 100% sure though, but someone more knowledgable than me will be along soon.

so what you are saying is that the speck is visible when you look through the viewfinder but not on the photos?

A quick skoosh with a rocket blower and all will be well again

Wouldn't worry too much if it's not affecting photo's. My viewfinder has quite a few bits of 'stuff' in it which I can see when looking through but none of which shows up on any pics. If it's on your focus screen though the advice from Flash should sort ye out.
