Postcards?

I think a lot of companies probably use images from a stock library. However, it might be worth looking on a few postcards to see who produces them and you could contact them to see if they need pictures

There's a guy on another forum I sue who has just recommended these guys for printing...

"I just ordered 1000 for £159 from colourcards.co.uk"

"1000 A5 Postcards just arrived. Very impressed. Colours about perfect, card thick enough - good service. Highly recommended. As I mention they send a proof - not on card, but shows the colours. The card versions exactly match the proof."

He then sells his local landscape postcards direct to local shops, cuts out all the middle men.

I am thinking of selling images as postcards.. but am thinking along the lines of BBB and ordering the card and selling direct to the shops.
I work in a display stand company so I can produce my own counter top / floor spinner to go with them. :)

Don't just think in terms of shops... Hotels , filling stations, restaurants also are good outlets.

Hotels and Restaurants also are suckers for new shots of their own buildings, even landscape ones that show them from afar.

All these places might try to put you off, as they will all have existing suppliers...
You must emphasise from the start that yours are New up to date Photographs and that they really should take a look at them.
