Forums usually have a file size limit but before I do what is the limit on here please.
 
Plus the 500 KByte limit, which occasionally catches me, for some reason!
 
A lot of people post to Flickr and link here, it has the advantage of allowing people to click through to see a better quality version. This forum software compresses images and sometimes there is a noticeable loss of quality due to that.
 
I've found that I get postable jpeg pictures from a Lightroom export, restricting the longest edge to 1024 and setting the jpeg compression to 80%.

It has confused me why sometimes you can post 1024px longest side and others have to reduce to 900px...my guess is it depends in the detail in the neg. :confused:
And annoying for me, when using a VPN you are banned, so having to keep switching it off :(
