Howdy

Just wondered if anyone gets really nervous on the morning of shooting a wedding. I've been doing them for a few years now and still can't seen to shift the pre- wedding nerves.

How many weddings do I need to photograph before these nerves b****r off!!

Missmoloko:nuts::bonk::eek:

I still get it...only been at it properly for 12 months though! As soon as I've fired off 10-15 shots I've totally forgotten about the nerves though! :)

Its a good things - shows you care about getting good photos for the wedding couple - start worrying when you don't give a ***** ;)

probably like acting
the day you don't is the day to pack it all in

Yeah they do disappear once I have started. Glad to hear I'm not alone though it was just me being stupid....

I played in a group for years and still got butterflies until I went on stage.Probably helps in some ways.

Spot on.

I also start thinking about things i should and shouldn't have done and never completely remember what and how i've done. Occasionally I see a shot in my head and know it will turn out good. It's always a relief getting the prints back :)

If you lot get nervous just photographing the wedding, does it mean there is something wrong with me as I am getting married in 17 days and I am not nervous at all :D

lol

I think slight nerves are a good thing no matter what you are doing, it keeps you alert and responsive. It shows that you care about what you are doing and that you don't want to ruin it for bride and groom! :)

wait until the morning!!!!

I get a bit anxious (not nervous) before I shoot, but that just makes me go through my routine - checking batteries, memory cards, lenses etc and once I'm happy I have everything I settle down.
