My pensions have just settled and crept up a bit in the last day or 2. Still down about £5k from late last year

Not everyone's choice, but I'm glad I combined all my pension and took an annuity in January. After my lump sum I get around 8.5% .

Get used to it. I’ve had two wins in the last 6 months, the rest of the time : zilch.

Premium Bonds are generally not a good investment vehicle. If you want a guaranteed return that you can’t touch you’d be much better off sticking the money in a long term savings bond. The only real benefits of PB’s are the winnings are tax free and there’s always the slight chance of a big win.

Yeah, 2031 so a 5 year fix will be much better than PBs, if you're not using your full allowance then ISA is tax free.
