Price query for Nikon D40

My daughter bought a Nikon D40 with kit lens last year on a whim and has only had it out of the box once and now wants to sell it.
Unfortunately the guarantee has expired.
It has a new Lowepro case (can't remember which model but the camera fits just right) and a 4GB sandisk extreme III card.
What do you think would be a reasonable price to sell at without giving it away but making it an attractive option to a new one?

I have a Wanted Ad for one of these, and I've got a very firm idea of the value of this, but I don't think it would be fair if I say so here.

Consider you can get a brand new one with Two Year Warranty for £245, and if you want to maximise your money sell the D40 and the lens seperately.

Assuming you want to get about £200 for it, I'd say about £140 for the D40 body, and £60 for the lens, assuming you split. On Ebay you'd get more, as its full of mentalists who overpay

I would Say if you get £200 for it you be doing well, as the D40 can be had for around £240 these days new.
