Yes, those were taken with a Nikon D7000 and the Nikon 50mm AFD.

My daughter: 1/400 f/2.2 ISO250 no flash
My wife: 1/640 f/2.2 ISO250 no flash

Straight out of camera, still love the natural feel that lens renders...

It certainly is a nice lens and I'm pleased that I have one, as a lot of things I guess it comes down to personal preference..

I also think that on your camera a 35mm will give you a bit more of flexibility
