I have a few shots of my sisters cat, but unfortunately due to the issue i had with a failing hard drive the only copies i have are those i had already hosted in my gallery, i have no original copies at all.
Now this cat sadly got run over last week and i would like to get a couple of small prints done. The images i have hosted i resized, though i only want some 6x4's, maybe 7x5's at the most so its not really a problem.
However at the same time as resizing, i also reduced the resolution to 72dpi.
I was hoping i might get away with it on these small prints. But i just took a trip down to tesco to use the instant print service, just to get an idea of how they would come out before i got them done properly. And yes, they came out looking like crap.
I'm sure i already know the answer to this, but is there anything i can do to try and improve the prints.
Failing that, would a small canvas be a bit more forgiving? (It would be a selection of three or four 6x4 images on a single canvas.)
