Printing PDF problems

can you not rotate the two pages that are upside down

Could you not, print one side, stick paper back in and print the other side?

that's fine if you only have one to do, he could have 100!

You can normally get the print driver to print 100 off one side, then 100 off the other side. This allows you to do this neatly (as long as you know which way to place the paper in the tray for the second print ;))

Inevitably it ends up being the wrong way (it always is) and then that ends up in wasted paper and then endless frustration at the printer.

If i have read this right, even number pages have to be rotated 180 so on screen they look upside down but when printed as they double sided will be printed correctly.

we have this issue at work and countless times do we have to remind the staff.

If you are unable to rotate the pdfs send me them and will rotate and send back/

If i read this wrong i will stand corrected.

So its not me doing anything wrong then. you need the second page to be upside down?

As for turning it over and printing one side a time, the point of a printer that will duplex is not to have to do this, I don't see why I should do this that's going backwards...

Have you checked the printer settings in the print driver dialogue (I missed the fact it was a duplex printer in the first post). There is normally a switch somewhere in the duplex settings which will do this automatically for you.

Ah yes that is why its printing it upside down........

The tick box in the printing options is doing it for you isn't it ?

How is it going? Yes we do the second, forth, six n so on upside down, ido agree though the print driver and printer should know what page orientation should for double sided
