hi all, i have a problem with my epson photo r300, i wanted to do some printing but when i switched it on (or tried to) it had no power to it. i have checked the lead and fuse in the plug and they are ok, does anyone know if there is a fuse internally or have an idea of what could be the fault, any help appreciated thanks. brian
 
:thumbsdown: that's not worked but thanks for the suggestion, think i may have to go in.
 
not tried a different lead to the printer, but have checked the printer lead on a radio as it is the same fit and the radio works with it.
 
checked that dave and still no joy, seem to think i can hear power in the printer but tried to print a doc with no success, been on epsom website and will connect with them on monday after work see what they have to say. can do without the expense of a new printer at the moment. thanks for your help, always appreciated.

well after talking to an epson chat advisor i'm no further on. getting a printer repaired will be expensive "i could recommend a suitable replacement" would you like to buy one today. no thanks goodbye.:razz:

so i have 1 other option i will try before i get the wallet out.
