Problem with opening Forums page

I wonder if anybody has an idea why my following problem occurs and if so any thoughts on how to mend it?

Each time I click on the TP’s Forum page it takes ages to load, yet if I click to the home page I am on instantly and anything on that page can be viewed instantly, but soon as I try the Forums page……..it freezes for ages! Once I gain access to any of the selections from the Forum page the computer speed is normal. This occurs both at home and to a slightly lesser degree at work, no other web site I visit has this affect on the computer.

I hope the above makes sense!

Any ideas will be gratefully received.

Ah ha - seems I am not the only one to have been afflicted by this. On several occasion I have had to Ctrl_Alt_Del out of Internet Explorer to regain control of the computer.

Seems better today (Tues) but still stuttering on occasions.

Thanks Neil_g for that link, never saw the discussion with this problem and after changing the TP Blue to a TP White as suggested by a few in the link, the speed is now back to normal.
