Problems with surround sound

Hi guys

Not quite sure I should be posting this here! But any help greatly appreciated.

The Samsung HT TX715 surround sound system has just suddenly stopped playing any audio or dvd cds/dvds. The connections are fine, used air spray to get any dust out, and have turned it on off, and lastly tried with a variety of cds and dvds. We are still getting the led's lighting up - everything is fine - its jsut decided to stop playing!:bang:

Any idea of what has gone wrong and any advice greatly appreciated.

Yes it does work with the TV. No the discs weren't spinning - but everything else, i.e l.e.ds etc work fine :-) Discs have been cleaned also, but still nothing!
 
If the discs aren't spinning and everything else if working ok, it sounds like an internal fault with the DVD drive itself e.g. no power getting to it or the drive itself failed etc. It doesn't sound like dust or contamination to me. I'm not an expert and others may have better advice. It looks like a call to Samsung or a local repairer for advice.
