I'm wanting to start doing in person sales sessions and need a decent projector to go with the mac laptop I have.has anyone any idea of what sort is best to get really good quality large projections into white walls?

for displaying photos? i wouldnt to be honest.
reason being, lighting for starters. youll need pretty much complete darkness, do you want your clients to sit in the dark? otherwise images will be washed out etc.
also white walls, while sounding like a good "canvas" arent ideal for the best picture. dedicated projector screens are more reflective for the best picture.

So do people generally use a laptop screen then? I obviously want the images to be as big a possible

This is for selling the photos so quality beds to be good as well as size.

I use a wireless ie no VGA cable Epson that matches the native resolution of my MacBook pro and MacBook air. It makes it easier to position it anywhere as it uses wifi to connect.
I agree with the white wall comments though. I tend to use a slightly grey draper mobile projection screen as it shows the definition much better.
As an aside using the VGA kit can also connect my iPad to it

Ipads are really good for presentation. We often use them at work to display designs to clients. It looks professional, image quality is crisp, and it's so sleek flicking through. I generally think Apple products are for posers, but in instances where posing gets you sales...
