Is there a chance that someone can point me in the direction of a simple property release form? :rules:

I have done a google search but most are written in a way I can't quite grasp (I am stilla blonde at heart :bonk:).

I have been in contact with a couple of places where I want to go and shot, and have asked about their photography policies.
One has got back to me saying I can do what I like with my pic's but could they have first refusal on useage (which I don't mind as it is for an animal charity).
But to make sure I am covered I believe a property release is best obtained so everything is covered and I dopn't go getting myself in trouble :bat:

Now for my next stupid question.....................
What would get put in this section of the release????

For valuable consideration of ............................................... , the receipt of which I acknowledge, I irrevocably grant the Photographer and the PhotographerÂ’s assigns,
 
As I understand it, the term 'valuable consideration' means something of value, for example money or perhaps first refusal, in exchange for that person giving you permission by signing the release.

This is something you both would normally negotiate, and in your original posting you mention if they could have first refusal on useage. This would come under the term 'consideration'.

Well you would certainly need to keep a copy for yourself, but there's no harm in making an extra copy in case the owner wishes to keep one too.
