Props

So, if I wanted to start doing some portrait photography, what would your top 10 list of props be?
Cheers

No one?

Depends entirely on the type of shoot and who you are shooting.

I've used:

Balloons
Sunglasses
Hats (funny and ordinary)
Guitars
Bar stools
Cameras (poloroid)
Bean Bag
Multi coloured stools/chairs
Scarves & Gloves
Christmas Presents
Christmas Tree (think of seasonal things to give as shoot a theme - pumpkins, flowers and easter eggs are all on my list for this year).

Generally I keep a few on hand, but suggest to people I'm shooting to bring along things that are important to them.

Do you really need loads of 'props' other than some form of seating & a few backgrounds?

Paul

Seat in shape of Hand.
Giant crayons.
Bean bags bright coloured.
Exploding Dwarf?

Thanks, I've just laughed out loudly and rather embarrassingly to 'exploding dwarf'!
