They're all good. I think I prefer the first of your 2nd post, though. Good eye contact and a threatening look.

You have some amazing shots here. I for one would be happy to see whatever you can dig up from your visit there.

Are they wild?
Yes(ish)

At least when I had the chance the visit here many years ago the wolves were all wild but they were very tolerant of people and some even let the staff handle them.

There was one female wolf that was very friendly and we even sat together for a short while. This could only be done when the alfa male wasn't around or we would have had to sort out the pecking order....... his way. ;)

The experience of being so close to these amazing animals was one of the most humbling and incredible times of my life. I would highly recommend taking the chance if you ever get it.

Stunning (y) First and the mono are my favs.

Are they wild?

Strictly speaking no, they are classified as 'Socialised' meaning they retain a lot of their wild ways, but are socialised to humans to an extent.

If you go and visit the trust ever, (and I would recomend you do!) you will have whats called a meet and greet session, whereby the visitors line up, holding out their fists, which gives the wolves a chance to walk along the line, and identify the members of their new temporary pack ;)

My wife is a Wolf Handler there, joining after my first photography day. :)

Thats said, since my little girl was born 6months ago, she hasnt had the time to go back (and she is getting itchy feet to go back, as am I!)

If you have any other questions, I am only to happy to answer them :D

So you have been! excellent, what a place eh. You should go back, they have had new wolves since.

It certainly is a hmbling experience, and dispite being a few times, each time I hear the wolves howling, it just makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck :D

Did you manage to fire off any shots while you were there?

Here is one more then, thanks to you and everyone else for the positive comments :D
