Yes another been published thread.

I've had a lot of shots in various leaflets and newsletters for the woodland trust locally but this is the first time I've made it into Broadleaf, their national magazine.

To stem the usual questions, yes I've been credited, no I haven't been paid.

I spend a lot of time working with the woodland trust as a volunteer as I believe passionately in what they do and one of my roles is as a volunteer photographer.

This is the picture that's been used.

Congratulations, there is nothing like the first time being in a full on magazine, I keep the mags that I've been published for people to see....... problem is, they are never as excited as me LOL, even the wife is like 'yes honey, they're great'.

Great that you support the organisation and they value what you do!

Congratulations, I think it's great that you have been published and that you are supporting a organisation that you believe in. I have supported a local village organisation by letting them use my images FOC but this is an organisation that I have been a part of since the age of 6

I do get a little frustrated with the every use must be a paid use brigade on this site. But I should add if it was an organisation that I had no connection with or desire to support then they would not get my work for free

I fully agree Matt. I've got a few close friends that get images for free as well but anyone else or other organisations pay the going rate.
