Question regarding Loxley Design Pro

I am adding photos to a Loxley Album, no problems the but the one I have is with the front cover.

Does my image for the front cover go on the left side or right, it is confusing me as the other pages are self explanatory and are numbered 1-2,3-4 etc (showing a 2 page spread)

Hope I am not confusing you.
 
I would be fairly sure it would go on the right as, when laid out flat, face up, the cover of a book will have the back on the left and the front on the right.

Is this 'Cover' ?

If so there are 2 sides. I want a picture on the cover nothing on the back. So which side do I place the image, please.
 
What kind of album is it?

I know the Artemis only gives 1 page for the front cover!

Same with Bellissimo.

Having said that there is a 'page' on the right of the Bellissimo cover that is half the size of the main cover, that's the bit that wraps around into the album.

Are you making a coffee table book?

TBH the best way is just to phone Loxley, they'll sort you out in a minute. I suspect it'll be the RHS.

Yes, it is a coffee table book and it does have 2 sides. The alblums only have 1 page for the covers.

I will ring this morning, thanks for the help guys.
 
You know what, it has to be the RHS though, coffee table books wrap all the way round the cover, so the RHS has to be the front. It's the only way it can work TBH.

Give them a call though, then you'll get confirmation.
 
Update.

When designing a coffee book from their range, it is indeed the right hand panel for the front cover.


I know this stuff is easy for some to work out but if they can make things simpler why not just put 'front cover/back cover' on the templates.

Anyhoo I am only a mere mortal.
