I photograph badgers regularly.
I have done a few short videos but want to do more.
I have a rode mic but looking for a light I can use attached to the camera ?
Any suggestions / recommendations please.

Without knowing your budget or output requirements it's difficult to recommend anything specific, but after filming for 40 years, the one I use mostly for on camera situations is the Vibesta peragos Disk 304P
It can run for ages off a common NPF battery or AA batteries, it has a variable output which gives plenty of light at 100% for most things and can mount to a hot shoe with a cheap 1/4 20 adapter, and you can pick one up for around £125
Check out ebay item no 183914946534
For an example, although I have no knowledge of the seller and I am suggesting it as an picture example only.

If you need more light and want a portable hand held battery operated video light, have a look at the excellent Godox ml60 light, available for around £200.

I will take a look thank you.
O do have a godox led170 but thought about something more directional.
I will give mine a go first.

Are you shooting at longer range? Check out some led torches, many now have a high CRI and have amazing light output compared to video lights. Plus some can be rail mounted or rigged to a hot/cold shoe mount.

Ille give this a go next weekend.
