RAW files in Elements 6

Hi all

I'm a newbie and am starting to use RAW files created by my Canon EOS 400D. Now I need to process these and according to Adobe I should be able to do this with Elements 6.

But it won't open them, at all. I can't find any help in the Help! It just says open the file!:bang: I realise I'm trying to do this late at night but, I started a lot earlier

Tina, It sounds like you need to download the Adobe Camera Raw Plug in or ACR.

You need to download the Adobe Camera Raw update v5.5 from here. V5.5 is the latest version compatible with Elements 6.
