Hi Nicola

EDIT: sorry theres so many i tryed to do a zip file and upload them and it just wouldnt work, the first ones are from Ingliston in Jan, the rest are from shpi and portfolio.

Thanks for the reply, sorry i've been really busy.. Well i'm coming over Saturday and Sunday, And i'm also taking some photos of my friends Gayle Raeside and Lara Whiteway, I will not use flash i never do as it would scare the horse and plus i'd feel so bad. I only have a 1GB card as i'm saving up by trying to sell prints to get a bigger card and also hopefully in the future some new lenses, I have already sold prints to a Top Junior rider Lara whiteway, I've only been doing photography for 2 years now and already sold prints which i'm proud of as i never ever thought i would, So i'm trying to get to as much shows as possible as i would love to become an event photographer, My mum phoned up because i was a little confused about the copyright sorry! Also if you ever need a photographer in the summer for clear rounds etc just give me a ring or email as it's great experience. i've applied photos that i've took from Ingliston and other shows to show you my portfolio if your interested. I was also thinking at the show on sat/sunday whatever day, in the presentation where the pony/rider collects there rosette get a photo of them?, Also you guys have made a great job on Ingliston as well its so different, I was there in July last year for the puissance with my friend and I was completely amazed on how great it was looking and then was back in January and it was weird to see all the trees gone, and how you can see the house!! I'm looking forward when its all finished you sure will be the best equestrian centre in the world\uk I'm so sure of it!!!

Thats what i sent! but she hasnt sent me a email back probs been really busy with Getting the premier

but i got a 4GB card today which im happy about

O......................K..................?

I haven't a clue what this is about, however if I read it correctly and it's an email to a client then you really need to sort out your language, grammar and punctuation if you wish to appear professional.

Just my 2p worth! I could be mis-reading this totally.

Cheers,
James

They also phoned back and said they had a professional photographer coming. but i was welcome to come and take photos :)

Agree....this should be in the original thread - we'd have had less confused replies if it had been ;)

Hi Frankee - it would probably make more sense if you posted this in your other thread about the same subject ?

The person you sent it to may have had problems following your email - if you don't mind a quick English lesson here are a few pointers, as others have mentioned your grammer is not of the best but they have not said why.

Never start a sentence with and, also or so.

When sending a formal or business type email treat it as you would a letter and always use the full words, for instance "I have" "I would" and "I am" (with a capital I) rather than "i've", i'd and i'm

Saturday and Sunday both have capital letters at the front.

Do not use so many exclamation points, and definitely only one at a time.

Use paragraphs to separate the different sections and sentences

Finish a sentence with a full stop (only one) and start it with a capital letter.

Your spelling looks to be accurate so I think that maybe you just need to slow down a little and actually read through what you write. It comes across as if you are speaking in a breathless and excited manner to a close friend rather than in a more formal way to someone who you may do business with and need to impress with your workmanship :)
