really really stupid question

ok I'm gonna get laughed at here but here goes anyway

I'm about to use my first roll of film in the Canon A-1 I picked up... thought I'd have a quick flick through the manual before having a go later tonight but it seems I left it at home :bonk:

Does anyone know how i change it to full manual? told you it was a stupid question

I can see the AV mode ok and the TV where one or the other is decided by the camera but not full manual where I can decide both? I'm going mental

I just wanted to experiment a little and take the exact same shot as my DSLR so same settings etc just to compare (unless this is a stupid idea)

according to an online manual, take the lens off A i.e. select an aperture you want, select Tv mode and select a shutter speed you want.
