Happy new year.

Just started to download a free trial of lightroom2 ,it started really slow (23-25 KB/sec) now it's down to 13 KB/sec.Somethings definitely not right ,i mean the set up i have it should be done and dusted in 5 or 10 min .

Probably a bit early today of all days ,but does anyone have any ideas what i could check ,anti virus is AVG .:)
 
Turn off your AVG and your firewall and see if it gets a better speed.

Try downloading something from another site - that will help you see if it is an issue with your connection or Adobe's servers.
 
Thanks folks ,it must have been adobes fault because i've just downloaded gimp and it took about 3 min :thumbs:
