Pop into your local B&Q (other large retailers are available) and pick up a couple of boxes of 24 Duracell for (relatively) buttons to see you through the weekend while your Eneloop order is being processed.
You might have to stop for a while to swap batteries but they'll see you through.
I've got the 7dayshop.com 2900Mah AA's and they are great. They last much longer than a set of Duracell's and aren't much more expensive than the 4 pack of Duracell's. I got around 450 flashes from a set of Duracell's in a Canon 580EX II before the refresh rate got too long. I got over 600 flashes from a set of the rechargeable ones and they'd been in my bag for a few months before I used them. The wife has had a set in her flash for around 8 months and it's still going strong now.
Standard Eneloops. Other batteries have higher capacity but none can dump more Amps, which is important for repeat flash bursts. Even Eneloop XX's struggle to keep up with the standard Eneloops for recharge times.
I have tried most LSD batteries and rate Eneloops highest for quality/reliability. After years of use they still hold a full charge when tested with my MAHA.
