I have some time to take a week's holiday next early spring (Feb/March). I'd love to spend some time getting to grips with landscape photography.

My previous efforts have always turned out poor to middling:

So if any has any recommendations for courses/tutors either in UK or somewhere you can get to easily/cheaply I'd be very interested.

If you're looking for cheap and easy I'd make use of the many free articles on the Internet. Then use your week to travel to a photogenic area of the UK and put it in to practice.

If you head towards S Wales, I'd be happy to spend a day showing you some nice spots.

Ian Badley in the New Forest. Been on a couple of his 1 day courses & both were really good. Find him on Google

He is the star in this is a vid too... Rather annoyingly windy mind! YOUtoob

Thanks for all your suggestions fellas. I'll start looking at these. It's great to have a recommendation especially as togging training is so expensive.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Electric Landscape. I know the founder, Rod Bird, very well. He's very knowledgeable, very personable, and he has a great down-to-earth practical attitude.

He runs courses around the Thames Valley, Brecon Beacons, and Peak District.
