My brother in law has asked me to recommend him a good home general use printer that is good "ish" for printing photos. I personally dont like to print my "good" photos at home and prefer to go to Jessops / Boots / Photobox, but they personally would like to print at home.

So I'm looking for your recommendations on a half decent and reasonably economical printer for home photo printing.

Totally agree, great colour & value for money.

Quality is astonishing considering you are paying less than £100!

Do it.

I got mine a laser printer from fleebay at quite a low price. It is laser sharp

have jst bought lexmark s305 with £30.00 off from PC world. it has great print quality and is wireless

am really hapy with it

Here we go again. To each his own. Everybodys printer is the best. I go for Epson because they are easily filled cartridges.

epson or canon cos the inks ar cheaper............check lexmark ink prices, often more than the printer cost!

Robert Dyas had Canon all in one printers going very cheaply the other day I think they were Pixma something or other I can't remember the model number now. The deal was in store as the web site didn't show the same offer.

They were on offer for £29.99. I notice no ones recommended HP, along with Lexmark they seem to be the worst for over priced replacement cartridges.

I have a lovely all in one HP printer and its sat in my shed as the cartridges are so flippin expensive to replace!

I use an old Canon i350 and can get 20 replacement cartidges for around £10!!!

Canon Pixma for me....They do a terrific job at not a great deal of outlay, and yes I print ALL my stuff on it.
