Redbubble

Not a member but just had a look through.

Looks interesting, I'll have a better look tonight.

Yep, I'm on there. Much prefer it to Flickr, and there's no limit to how many pictures you can upload per month.

 from me!

Edit: Thought I'd add that I don't put any of my pictures up for sale, so don't know how well that bit works..

I'm a member, found out its based in the USA so no good for printing for the UK

I'm on it too (DaveFrost on there and Flickr) - Not really sure whether it'll really be of any benefit for me, but trying hard to only put my favourite pics on there, rather than the rubbish I seem to have accumulated on Flickr.......

Well, like I said, I only stumbled upon it following a link on someones comments on Flickr and like you said, it does look interesting and very straight forward and more importantly for me a non-pro, free. :D

Umm, I must read the full terms of everything, I didn't know there was a monthly Flickr upload limit. :bonk: Thanks for pointing that out. ;)

Does this mean then that all us UK based toggers are losing out and that the site is useless for us?

I second that.

They're presently auditing some UK based printers ;)

I'd be pretty cautious of using it for sales.
It's nothing to do with the quality of your work it's the sheer size of the place.
It's difficult to get to the minimum amount needed for a payout, which just means Redbubble get paid for your work and it's unlikely you will.

Yeah thanks, I realize it is a long shot but it's worth a try. ;)

I'm a Red Bubbler , and find it pretty good. Yet something else to upload to, but i tend to be more selective. You can sell there (sold a postcard ), but as Lee says they are looking into UK printers too (hows that going by the way Lee?). One nice thing is that they have a flickr add on so you can spam your bubble on your flickr site too

I really like your images .

What is this Flickr addon though?

Sorry mate, but being a complete muppet here, what does this mean?

Is it not possible to sell through Redbubble at the moment?

Anyone can sell through RedBubble at present - and anyone can buy. It's the turn around and delivery that's the present issue. I believe their current UK turnaround to delivery is between 20 - 30 days.........

Paul

Very well actually. I'm meeting Paul in a couple of weeks over at the workshop (he's coming over from Australia to meet us!). So.... Fingers, toes, strands of hair etc all crossed!!

Don't want to give too much away just yet though :) Does mean we'll be introducing about 5 new product lines to our inventory too if it comes off.

Lee - Would be a fantastic result, fingers crossed..

Thanks Yoby :)

I just joined on the 24th August. Sold a framed print on the 26th! Made about £35 from that. I signed up purely to see how it works for selling stuff. Seems OK so far.

Nice one  Which shot was it you sold?

Brilliant Claire well done!
It is a good shot :)
I kno it works for some people and not for others, I hope you continue to do well on there :D

does it do slideshows

does it do slideshows

Hi,

when you have signed up there is a 'Promote' link in your account which includes things like banners etc.. and also a slideshow app to add to your website or blog plus a sales widget which has a slideshow with your product prices on, you can also add this to your own website or blog.

You also get a BubbleSite to host and sell your images, see my sig for the link to mine.

Hope this helps. ;)

Thanks. :) This one:

Which just proves you never know what other people will like, because it's certainly not my best!

£20 via PayPal, which I think isn't too bad! Or if you want a cheque sent to you in the post it's £100.

May not be your best but I really like it. I think it would look great on a large canvas. Do you get any info on who it sold too? If I sold anything then i'd really like to know where it went (i'm such a geek)

I'm on there aswell Redbubble I've sold a couple of T-shirts so far, I've been on there for about 12 months it's a good place to check out different stuff.

I'm on there too http://www.redbubble.com/people/juliemcbrien

Don't really expect to sell anything at the moment as i'm still learning but you can always hope. I find the groups really good for getting new ideas and doing some research for my college work.

On my watchlist. ;)

Good point, I like to know these things too.

Love your T-Shirts, you may be selling another soon. :D
