I have been asked to set up a camera for a client which will trigger in a remote environment capturing approx 10 images after 30 seconds after being triggered. Any idea on how to do this? Thanks in advance

How is the camera to be triggered - manually, automatically, etc?
How remote is remote?
What are the operating conditions?

automatically after30 seconds of being triggered... possibly infra red trigger...not sure..... it is to photograph people after walking through nightclub doorway...... weird I know ... i did recommend video but ...... hey ho i am only the poor photographer... LOL

CCTV would be a lot easier and is ideal for applications like this. Why does the owner insist on using a still camera and remote trigger? I suppose this could be done with passive infra red detection, but I can see a lot of problems with implementation.

He has video already.....but he also wants stills as he thinks the images are clearer

Pretty sure the Photo trigger (as in the guys on this forum) could do that.

You'd need their soon to be released laser trigger and then it's childsplay to tell the camera to wait x ms and then fire y shots.
