Remote control for EOS 30D advice

I've been searching around the web for an infra red remote for my 30D and so far have drawn a blank. I've found a Canon RC1 and someone on Amazon says it works with the 30D but it is advertised for the 300 and 400D. Failing that I'll have to get one with a wire, but the leads all seem very short for self portraits!

All advice greatly appreciated.

The 30D does not have an inbuilt infra red remote receiver.
You can use one of these.

Yeah, forgot to mention I have one also, you could even take a self portrait from 50 mtrs away

I have the one up from that the Phottix Cleon

It clips onto the hotshoe, and has a few different modes (2seconds etc).
