Repairman needed....

Where is the go to place these days? I've acquired a Minolta Hi Matic F, not a particularly spectacular camera but it is rather nice and I'd like to have it put back into working order, as far as I can tell it only needs a new battery wire making up, but to get at it requires more dismantling than I am confident with. Any recommendations?

Many on here have used Miles. He will give you an idea of cost, and if it runs out to be unrepairable he'll send it back for nothing more thn the return postage. But he is busy so there can be a delay of a few weeks.

I see the one I linked to is recommended by A.G. I only know of them because they're local to me and are used by local photographers.

I watched this earlier and the lad seems decent and worth supporting. He says at some point that he specialised in point and shoot cameras.
