Request for lens :)

[Luke_Herts]

Hi

Can anyone help... my 100-400mm broke yesterday and i have to send it to the fixers. This means i will be without a long lens for at least 2 weeks

Is there a generous person near St Albans that is willing to lend me a long lens for a while. I will pay or beer tokens etc just i can't afford lens hire and can't not do any photography for 2 weeks when i am usually out at least 2 times a week if not more.

It would be much appreaciated,

Luke

Can't really afford that much with the cost of fixing as well

Some people may be a bit scared to do this after what happened last time Maybe rent something around the 300 range? Would be a lot cheaper.

How about buying / renting a extender and putting it one of you other lens? :http://www.lensesforhire.co.uk/canon-ef-extender-14x-ii-4-p.asp

I suppose it's a Canon?

Someone got broken into a lost all there camera stuff, some nice lad lent him his Nikon D60. Only ment to have it a week or 2, he got no word from him for about 2 months I think. All the members started a pot all offering to put £10 in to buy him a new one. He got the camera back in the end thankfully.
