resizing a pic for the web

I have taken a shot of my friends house and he wants me to put it to disc so he can later show it on a website.how should I go about resizing it.px size and image size etc

think the free faststone will do this and add watermarks too etc

I have cs3 and was going to do iton that as I only have 1 photo to do.does anyone know what size i should take it down to?

800px on the long edge set at quality level 10 will be plenty for web use.

Don't forget to save as an sRGB profile too.
