Hello,

I've got this old, faded photograph of a cat. The white of the cat blends into the white of the car, and the rest is a bit off too. Unlikely, but is there anything that can be done to enhance or restore this photograph at all?

No chance, what is gone is gone.
If you had the original negative there would be far better hope.

There are some limited possibilities but nothing to write home!

The cat could disappear, apply tonal taming, rectify colours but
as the sharpness is concerned… ~

I had assumed it was the cat he wanted????

wow I'm very impressed with peoples editing skills TheGhost great job with the bloom on the hood really shows off the cat
Ronnie it's a real shame you don't have a high res pic of her shes beautiful I love cats!

One day which is probably very near there will be an AI that will just reinvent all those missing details and let you "zoom in" CSI style. Limited proof of concept demos are already out there.

But it won't really be photo of your cat any more.
 
Thanks all. Some great replies there! I knew there wouldn't be much could be done. If the data isn't there, then it's simply not there
