Very cool takes, Derek…

This being at least a 12 stops DR, using a
three + shots bracketing approach would
have proved very helpful and greatly impro-
ved the final results

Many thanks for the comments. They are all 3 bracketed shots blended in Photomatix and finished in PS. I don't think the highlights are blown or the shadows devoid of of detail.

Your statement is correct, BUT I said:
— three + shots bracketing approach…

In such cases, I usually go for seven selecting
only three in the end to avoid the HDR effect
that I dislike as looking unnatural.

The careful choice of the three selected will
determine the appearance quality of the end
rendition.

I to think these are good shots but as pointed out above the green of the grass needs toning down.
