RIP Peter Alliss

Peter Alliss, the "Voice of golf" passed away at the weekend aged 89. For as long as I can remember, back to the seventies, I listened to his commentary and sense of humour, his knowledge of the game was second to none. He will be missed by many.

One of the great commentators, one that became the voice of the sport. Along with Bill McLaren & Ted Lowe, all now sadly passed.

Use to love watching a round with Alliss, he was one of the great commentators as well as a great professional golfer.
