Hi,

I sent a camera via RMSD but it hasn't turned up before 1pm today. On the website it says "Your item with reference (tracking number) is currently progressing through our network.
Your item is currently progressing through our network for delivery.
To check your item's progress please come back later.

It's never happened before, I know loads of mail goes missing but have any of you had stuff be delayed/missing with RMSD.

Thanks.

I had this with a camera i bought, it turns out the package was lost at the original sending point, ask the sender to chase it up and it should be OK

They found mind and forwarded it on a few days later

I had this yesterday, I paid extra for an Xbox to be delivered yesterday from a seller on here as it was my day off. No show, checked the website and it said the same as yours.

Lo and behold, a card through the door today and I now have to traipse to the Sorting Office to collect it.

It won't be too hard to guess what their excuse will be for the late delivery

I have had it happen a few times.

To be honest I normally send stuff special delivery for the insurance more than speed so am quite happy if it gets there a day late as you can claim back your postage costs if they don't deliver next working day. ;)

From my experience claiming back the special delivery bit is almost a waste of time. You have to fill out a form, post it at your cost and they refund only the amount you paid intolerant for special delivery not the full postage amount.. in my case it was £3.50 refunded :(

I have always got the full postage cost refunded, that is their guarantee,

I've never had my full postage refunded and always been advised to send recorded delivery. Mind its only happened twice. My po workers are clueless though.

Thanks for the heads up. If it happens again I won't be settling for the partial refund. I always understood it to be the full amount, but in my limited experience it wasn't.
