Rockingham race circuit

Afternoon all,

I'm off to Rockingham on Sunday to cover an event for a sponsor. I'll have media pass incl pit pass.

Can anybody point me in the right direction for the best vantage points (Will need to start shooting within 30mins of arriving so I've no time to have a look around), I've no idea which circuit configuration they're going to be using.

Its probably the international circuit.

In no particular order:

1) outfield of turn 1 through camera slots in fence
2) infield - turn 3 and tarzan corners very close to each other.
3) infield - climbing up hill out of turn 3 and you can stand on end and get them cresting hill
4) corner before Tarzan hairpin
5) tarzan hairpin
6) chicane before they go back onto main oval

I'll keep an eye out for you, I've no idea what I'll be wearing but I'm 6'2, blind as a bat and balding if that helps If it's warm enough I might brush off the old 'Borat man-kini'.

Thanks! Nope, not done any motorsport bar one track day many moons ago with quite possibly the slowest lens money can buy. I can pan though :bang:

there is a set of slots in the fencing on the outfield at the other end of the pit straight - but its a long old trek infield to outfield!

I quite like Rockingham (with media pass) but without a pass its best to leave the camera at home.
