Hi all,
This may be a long shot, but I am trying to contact some one who looked like a keen photographer to me and may well be on here.

At the beginning of this year me and a old friend walked the south downs from Winchester to Eastborne, dressed as Romans. A crazy thing to do but it was to raise money for Help for Heroes.

Any way not far outside of Winchester, near the beginning of our journey we met a chap on top of this big hill for which I can not remember the name of. Any way he did walk with us for a while and took a few shots of us, but he did tell us he was up there for the birds of prey. The only other thing I remember he told us was he was a teacher. I am assuming he was from the Winchester area and I am sure he would of remembered us, considering our dress.

I would like to contact him as he may have some good pics of us, if any one has any ideas who this person could be that would be grand. He may not even be a TP member but if we do manage to contact him, wow, the power of the internet.

Thanks for reading
Mike

Hi Mike, Do you do this Roman re enactment thing a lot??

I am looking to take some shots next year and would love to go to a large meeting or re-enactment to shoot. I will do this for free and pass on any images for the club etc. I'm looking to do it in the vein of action and movie style .....

PM me if you know of any large meetings.

Cheers.

Could your big hill outside of Winchester be St.Catherines hill - an old iron age hill fort?

Not that it helps you initially, cos it is not me, but it may help you jog peoples memory.

Just sent you pm Daryl, sorry about delay, but had to make some enquiries.
