hello
managed to get a good deal on a well looked after D2 HS .The reason i like this camera is its a "worker" , Well built and will do all i need for street/urban photography. The pixel count is not that much of a issue as i never fell for the "Ive got the most " debate
And i took some test pics and found i was getting good 10x 8 without any issues.
Any way....... I really fancy some "Old Skool" glass. I hate flash and hate camera bags even more (Thats another reason for the D2, i dont need to carry another battery !)
I have a Budget of £200 -300 MAX
due to new baby.
I would love a Zeiss with conversion but i doubt it !
My local dealer is going for the 50/ Niffty at a good price. It works a treat and i do not need anything LONGER. But...... i would love the extra width.
what i would love is either a lovely small zoom that will give me the equiv of 28mm (after its stuck on the DSLR) to about 100mm
If i stick with a prime 24/28 I worry that it might not cover me for street portrait type work.
My style is to "get stuck in" I can work close.
I really do not want to carry another lens. I HATE KIT !! I just want to shoot.
\
I also want to get as fast a lens as possible.
Here is the good bit. I am not a Brand Junkie. I just want to get it right first time !!!
Many thanks
Luke
