I really like the ornate stonework (or is it some kind of plasterwork?) of the buildings, and the blue sky in #2 really brings out the contrast. The warm backlighting and compressed perspective of #5 also works really well, but there's something to like in every one of them.

Great set, like them all, but for me the last is best, the colour and the battered old doors and the guy just taking 5, wonderful.
 
Like ... tragic events there make these images even more special.
 
Oh what a nice set this is. What an amazing city this must have been, so characteristic!
 
That third shot reminds me of something Gaudi would have built !
Some nice shots, and chilling to think of what it would look like now.
Isn't this a world heritage site, or something similar?
