Sandals Recommendations

Probably too tenuous to go in the Talk Equipment forum but looking for recommendations for sandals please; currently if I want to go in the water to shoot I've either got to wear my waterproof boots or remove shoes / socks, which gets tiresome quickly.
Ideally would like personal recommendations for sandals that are also comfortable to wander around in for say up to 1 mile

Much as I hate to admit it, I'm a Croc convert. Strap over the heel if I want/need them to stay on and flipped over the upper for easy slip on/off. Done a couple of miles on gravel tracks with them. So far, they haven't set off my Plantar Fasciitis either!

I agree with Nod - crocs would be best (if least attractive) solution
Problem with sandals is leather/cloth parts will soak up water and be extreme uncomfortable afterwards.

I had PF after returning from Tenerife 18 months ago and the Physio said it was caused by sitting on the plane for 4hrs 15m and the next day going for a long walk along the prom to the next village..and back. Ie we didn't get the bus back. I'm not convinced. I've never had it before nor since and we've done the same walk..on the flat..a 'new' prom..maybe not the next day but two days later. I now take the golf ball sized spikey rubber ball on holiday in case it happens again but whilst we're still on holiday.

From what you say it seems that it can recur.

I wear sandals 365 days a year and even when it's snowing. After many years of buying Slazenger and Dunlop I switched to buying Karrimor Antibes and have found them to be much more durable and longer lasting.... I also occasionally use Crocs.

Bad shoes without decent arch support set mine off. I use https://www.amazon.co.uk/Edison-Eli...B01EQ5X7F4-&hvexpln=0&gad_source=1&th=1&psc=1 in all my "real" shoes (thanks again, Cobra!) and roll a golf ball under the arches if I've been barefoot too long!
